Had a great mid-week stay at Red Rock, great get away. Seemed a little bit like a power trip on the. And woe be you if you wanted to finish your coffee by the pool, even though you just bought it.100 feet om the Starbucks on site. We were not allowed to even bring in the small bottles of water that we got at the front desk. First, every bag (even my 8x8' purse) was examined for 'illegal' (really?) food or beverages. I hate to wait 15-20 minutes first thing in the morning, when all I want is a cup of coffee/Īlso, although the pool was beautiful, there were some issues. I would have liked a dedicated 'drip coffee only' line. We were there off season, so I hope they have a better method of getting people caffeinated when the hotel is crowded. There were two on site, but always always maddeningly long, slow lines. I don't mind not having coffee in room, since I am a Starbucks fan through and through. Two things brought down the rating for me. Also liked not being on the crowded strip, seemed a little less frantic. Staff was very nice, casino was fun, loved having a Yard House on site.
Beautiful room, cozy, meticulously maintained, always smelled so great! Lobby and pool area also very clean. Since we went off season, mid-week, the room was very reasonable.
